Flesh and Blood (but not cannibals)

The gospel reading for this week is one that should shock us, it certainly did in the time after Jesus' death and resurrection, even as it did for the religious leaders surrounding Jesus. What was it? "Eat my flesh and drink my blood." This teaching led to charges of cannibalism for Jesus' followers, but that's not what Jesus literally meant.
